When sending notifications, Áú»¢¶Ä²© tries to look up a Jabber SRV record first, and if that fails, it uses an address record for that domain. Among Jabber SRV records, the one with the highest priority and maximum weight is chosen. If it fails, other records are not tried.
Looking up Jabber SRV records is supported since Áú»¢¶Ä²© 1.8.6. Prior to that Áú»¢¶Ä²© only tried an address record.
Custom media scripts are executed from the path defined in the Áú»¢¶Ä²© server configuration file variable AlertScriptsPath. The script has three command line variables passed to it:
Environment variables are not preserved or created for the script, so they should be handled explicitly.
